How to control spin down settings on WD elements USB hdd?

spin wdI am using 2 REDs 8TB of size in my desktop computer which runs 247. Windows 10 does not spin down the drives when set it to so in the energy plan. Basically i want to saveIf WD confirms the behavior you could access the drive in certain intervals with a scheduled task to avoid spindown.
